The Lumo Community Wildlife Sanctuary lies at the heart of the Tsavo eco system, surrounded by Tsavo East and West national parks and the Taita Game Sanctuary.

Lions Bluff is a small, exclusive wildlife safari lodge which clings to the edge of a bluff suspended above Lumo Community Wildlife Sanctuary.

Climate: the area has a typical savannah climate.
Vegetation: Over 400 plant species, mixed habitat of bush, grasslands, acacia woodlands and some riverine forest.
Fauna: lion, leopard,cheetah, serval cat, civet cat, bat eared fox, aardwolf, Striped and spotted hyena, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, baboon, large variety of antelope, mongoose, hyrax, porcupine and many more.
Birds:Prolific bird life featuring over 200 species.

Lions Bluff Lodges

Stay in a small, unique lodge of sustainable timber, canvas and traditional coconut thatch. Sip sundowners on an open terrace with Mount Kilimanjaro as the back drop, followed by dinner overlooking a small water hole visited by a family of elephants.
